Collection Update - February 17th

Good Morning or Good Night depending on where you´re at in the world.

In Sweden where I´m at its just past 7 in the morning and I should be sleeping still but with all the stress that´s going on in my life at the moment it´s hard to get the peace to sleep.

So I thought I could update you on my latest horror purchases instead (Still have a Mail Day update to post as well), but I´ve almost caught up with myself again :)

Most of these were found at a local Goodwill Store, or more like half of them perhaps.

The other ones were ordered online :)

Dead Rising was actually better than I thought it would be, might be cause I´m mildly obsessed with the games.

I do wish that they would have made a movie based of Dead Rising 2.

I have no idea what Moonlight is about but I found it for $2-3 at the Goodwill and I thought why not.

The highlight of the Goodwill finds still has to be the 2-Disc Edition of Nosferatu.

I think I´m going to spend a couple of hours this morning fixing up the main part of this site a bit, it´s been dragging on for much longer than I expected.

Hopefully I can start adding some reviews soon as well.

Collection Update - February 13th

This Collection Update is way overdue...

Things have been so hectic lately and my stress and anxiety has been bothering me more than usual, but that´s not what this post is about.

One of the last Video Stores in town is closing its doors after 20 years at the end of this month.
I´ve been frequently visiting that store for as long as we´ve lived in this city (around 10 years).

I hate to see Video Stores closing down, I do much of my Horror Hunting online but there is something special about being able to go into a store and search around the shelves...

Anyway due to the store closing down they´ve been letting plenty of the movies go for 50% off, and that´s a deal that´s too good to pass up on.
So that´s what this post will be about, most of the movies below were picked up the store, I did get a couple of Non-Horror movies as well such as a really awesome collectors Edition of Spiderman but enough writing, let´s move on to the Horror shall we.

• From Dusk Till Dawn 2

These are all movies that I already had, but you might have guessed by now I love getting different releases of movies. 

It might be a different cover, different bonus features or just a different region code :D

Found a couple of Editions to add to the Saw Collection as well:

These are the last of the "Alternate Releases".

I got the Ultimate Collector´s Edition for a complete steal, I payed around $2-3 for it which is completely insane, but I´m definitely not complaining :P

I absolutely love Cartoons and Anime always have and always will, Scooby Doo was one of my favorite shows growing up so I have a "little" side mission of collection as many of the Scooby Dvd´s as I can.

I´m gonna try and find the time to go back one final time before the store closes its doors permanently, I still have 2 weeks.

After that I guess I have to find somewhere else to go.

It absolutely sucks that this is the 3rd largest city in this Country and there´s absolutely nothing to do here, we have to seriously start looking into possibilities of leaving this place.

But anyway, there will be another update post soon, I have a stack of movies that I haven´t had the time to get sorted yet, like I said at the top the beginning of 2017 has not been a good start so far.

 

The clock just turned 6 am and I guess it´s time for a cup of coffee.
